University of Surrey
서리대학교는 잉글랜드 남동부 Surrey주 Guildford에 위치한 공립 종합 대학교입니다. 1891년에 런던 근교 가난한 주민들에게 고등교육을 제공한다는 목표 아래 설립된 Battersea Polytechnic Institute을 전신으로 하고 있으며, 1956년 Battersea College of Technology로 명칭이 바뀌었고, 1966년 종합대학교 지위를 승인하는 왕실 헌장을 받아 University of Surrey가 되었습니다.
현재 16,000여명의 학생이 재학중이고, 그 중 5,000여명은 국제학생입니다.
2,300개 이상의 placement partner를 보유하고 있으며, 3년 연속 National University Employability Award를, 2022년 Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022에서는 University of the Year for Graduate Employment를 수상하였습니다.
