King’s College London은 1829년에 설립되었으며 영국에서 4번째로 오래된 대학입니다.
런던대학연합 (University of London)의 창립멤버로 1836년부터 참가한 이래, 킹스칼리지런던은 12명의 노벨상 수상자를 배출하였으며, 학술 및 연구 개발 비용에 많은 비용을 들이며 영국에서 가장 많은 연구 비용을 지원해주는 대학인 골든 트라이앵글(Golden Triangle) 대학 중 하나로 영국내 연구 중심 명문 대학교들의 협력 기구인 러셀 그룹(Russell Group)의 멤버이기도 합니다.
